“Greenbrier at Riverchase” will feature 90 Independent Living, 72 Assisted Living and 36 Specialty Care Units on an 8 acre site on Parkway Lake Drive in Hoover, Alabama. The Community will be managed by Greenbrier Senior Living, which has an excellent record of providing superior senior living management services.
The Community will offer the continuum of care with Independent living, Assisted living, and Specialty Care in a rental payment structure. This continuum of care product type is appealing to prospective residents as it offers them the ability to “age in place.” For instance, a senior can move into the Community as an Independent Living resident and transition to Assisted Living or Specialty Care if needed as his or her health declines. Prospective residents will also find the Facility’s month-to-month rental payment structure without any large upfront entrance fees, which are typically required at CCRCs, appealing.
Greenbrier at Riverchase will offer 1 & 2 bedroom units with kitchens for the Independent Living residences and studio, 1 & 2 bedroom units for the Assisted Living residences. There are numerous amenity spaces throughout the building for residents to enjoy along with a central living room, grand dining rooms, activity rooms, and outside courtyards for each of the Independent Living, Assisted Living and Specialty Care. Other amenity spaces include a theater, pub, bistro, salon, library, exercise, physical therapy, card/game rooms. Plus there is van and bus transportation service provided. The community services include concierge services and 24 hour on-site staffing.
Rabren Construction has commenced construction of the Community and has a projected opening at the beginning of 2022.
