Smith/Packett LLC, recently closed on the construction loan for a new 186 unit Independent Living and Assisted Living facility with Memory Care in the growing Indianapolis suburb of Avon. Named Harmony at Avon, this community is located on North Dan Jones Road.

This community is strategically located near growing residential areas and retail areas along Rockville Road, and is near the University Health West hospital located approximately two and a half miles to the southeast. The community will be managed by Harmony Senior Services, adding another location to Harmony’s growing footprint of communities. Construction commenced in October 2019 and the community is scheduled to open in late 2021.

Harmony at Avon features 89 spacious independent living apartments and 64 well-appointed assisted living apartments, as well as a 33-unit secure Memory Care wing that provides care for residents with Alzheimer’s. Harmony at Avon also features expansive common area spaces designed to enhance the lives of the residents within the community, and also features outdoor courtyards to provide residents with ample outdoor recreation space.

Harmony at Avon will offer a variety of floor plan options with one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio apartments available. The 195,323 square foot community has a Total Project Cost of over $40,000,000.
