Closed on Construction Loan  1/6/21

Smith/Packett recently closed on the construction loan for a new 118 unit Assisted Living facility with Memory Care in Elkhart, Indiana, an RV manufacturing center dubbed the “RV capitol of the world.” Named Harmony at Elkhart, this development is located at the intersection of County Road 17 and Parkway Avenue. 

The community is strategically located near growing residential areas and retail areas along County Road 17, and is near the Concord Mall approximately 5 miles to the southwest.  The community will be managed by Harmony Senior Services, adding another location to Harmony’s growing footprint of communities.  Construction will commence in March 2021 and the community is scheduled to open in mid 2022.

Harmony at Elkhart features 82 well-appointed assisted living apartments, as well as a 36-unit secure Memory Care wing that provides care for residents with Alzheimer’s.  Harmony at Elkhart features expansive common area spaces designed to enhance the lives of the residents within the community, as well as outdoor courtyards to provide residents with ample outdoor recreation space. 

Harmony at Elkhart will offer a variety of floor plan options with one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio apartments available.  The 106,252 square foot community has a Total Project Cost of over $22,000,000.
