Smith/Packett recently closed on the construction loan for a new 180 unit Independent Living and Assisted Living Facility with dedicated Memory Care Wing in the Princess Anne neighborhood of coastal Virginia Beach, Virginia. Named The Crossings at Independence, the community will be Managed by Harmony Senior Services. Construction will begin in January 2015 and the community will open in Spring 2016. The Crossings at Independence will feature 100 spacious independent living apartments as well as 56 assisted living apartments and 24 Harmony Square apartments in a dedicated memory care wing. The Crossings at Independence features a variety of living options and offers multiple floor plans with one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and studio apartments available. The 180,000 square foot community carries a Total Project Cost of over $28,000,000.
